ChatBot Gulf is operated by Igor Popović, an individual based in Montenegro, who is the data controller responsible for your information.

1.Data We Collect

We collect data necessary to provide our service, including:

• Business contact information (name, email, business name)
• Chat logs between your bot and end users
• Lead data submitted through the chatbot (names, emails, phone numbers)
• Usage analytics (page views, response times, error logs)

2.How We Use Data

Data is used solely to provide and improve our service. Specifically:

• Processing chat messages through our AI provider (Anthropic)
• Storing conversation history to maintain context
• Delivering lead notifications to you
• Improving service quality and fixing bugs

We do not sell your data to third parties.

3.Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices and limit internal access on a need-to-know basis.

4.Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to deliver our product:

• Anthropic — AI model provider for chat responses
• DigitalOcean — Server infrastructure
• Gumroad — Payment processing and merchant of record (checkout & card handling)

Each follows its own privacy policy and applicable data protection laws.

5.Your Rights

You may request:

• Access to data we hold about your account
• Correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion of your account and associated data
• Export of your chat logs and leads

Contact us to exercise any of these rights.

6.Data Retention

Chat logs are retained for 90 days. Lead data is retained as long as your subscription is active. Upon account deletion, all data is removed within 30 days.

If you cancel, your account and its data (captured leads and chat logs) are retained for 30 days so you can export them, then permanently deleted. You can request immediate deletion at any time by emailing igor@chatbotgulf.com.

7.Cookies

The chatbot widget uses localStorage to maintain session continuity. No tracking cookies are used.
